Several plans approved, changes in subdivisions

Olive Branch Planning Commissioners on March 11 approved a preliminary plan application for a 16.5-acre lot in the Alexander Crossing Subdivision.

The property, zoned C-4, planned commercial district, is located on the northwest corner of Goodman and Alexander roads.

The request was submitted by Alexander Crossing, LLC. It was approved by commissioners in a unanimous vote.

A preliminary plan application for the Davidson Oaks Commercial Subdivision also received unanimous approval from the planning commission.

The request, submitted by Davidson Oaks, LLC, includes five lots on 4.82 acres located south of Goodman and west of Davidson Road. The property is zoned C-2, highway commercial district.

Commissioners approved a third preliminary plan application for three lots on 2.79 acres in the Farabee Commercial Subdivision. And another 0.99-acre lot in the subdivison received final plat approval.
The requests, submitted by Russell and Company, includes property located on the north side of Goodman Road, east of Craft Road and west of North Hamilton Circle. It is zoned C-1, neighborhood commercial district.

Commissioners also approved:

-An application for a final plat approval, lot 8, Davidson Oaks Commercial Subdivision, submitted by Davidson Oaks, LLC. The property, which consists of three acres, is located south of Goodman Road and west of Davidson Road. It is zoned C-2, highway commercial district;

-An application for a project development plan amendment, The Glen at Plantation Estates Subdivison, submitted by Plantation Condos, LLC. The property is located on the east side of Germantown Road, south of Plantation Crossing. It consists of 12.786 acres zoned PUD, planned unit development;

-An application for a plat revision approval, lot 2, Metro Industrial Park, submitted by K & A Investments. The property is located on the west side of Hacks Cross Road, south of Ridgeway Industrial Drive. It consists of 1.93 acres zoned M-1, light industrial district.

Commissioners are a recommendatory body to the city’s Mayor and Board of Aldermen, which make the final decision on all requests and applications.

Commissioners meet at 6 p.m. on the second Tuesday monthly, and aldermen meet at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Tuesday monthly in the Municipal Court Building next to the Olive Branch Police Department at 9245 Pigeon Roost Road.
