The Olive Branch Family YMCA held their annual Healthy Kids day event on Saturday April 12th. Lots of fun was had by all who attended. There was something for kids all ages 1 - 100. The day started with a 5K race with 40 people participating and was started by Mayor Sam Rikard as he read a document that proclaimed April 12, 2008 as official Healthy Kids Day in Olive Branch.. The 1 mile family walk/run had 50 families participate. The winners in each category were as follows: Overall - Bert Hull 19:30, Men - Bert Hull - 19:30, Women - Gisele Goldstein

Lewisburg takes first game in series
On Saturday,May 3rd, the Lewisburg Patriots continued their amazing run through the 3-A playoffs. They came from a 2-0 deficit to beat the Mooreville Troopers 5-3 behind another complete game by sophomore Aaron Greenwood. He gave up seven hits, struck out eight, and walked only one.
